How do I actually get loads with LoadBoot?+
Two ways, same login: browse the verified load board yourself (every posting is a real load with written detention/TONU terms), or let your dispatcher work your lanes — we find, negotiate and book freight that clears YOUR floor price, and you approve every load.
What documents do I need to sign up?+
A COI (ACORD 25) with $1M auto liability + $100K cargo, LoadBoot as certificate holder and every truck listed with its VIN; your MC authority letter; and a W-9 + dispatch agreement — both can be filled and e-signed right in our chat. The AI checks each document instantly and tells you exactly what to fix.
Does detention actually get paid?+
Yes — because it is pre-agreed in writing on every posting before you book, and your GPS trail builds the claim automatically: geofenced arrival stamps, notification before free time expires, and the claim filed the moment you tap submit. See the detention policy.
Do you guarantee a certain number of loads or a minimum income?+
No — and be careful with anyone who does. Freight markets move; a guarantee usually hides a contract, a forced-dispatch clause or a rate cut somewhere else. What LoadBoot guarantees instead is the part that is actually in our control: the full rate card in writing before you accept, deadhead measured from where your truck really is, accessorials paid on GPS evidence, a PAY-BY date on every dollar owed, and no contract to leave. You pay 5% only when a load actually books.
What equipment and freight types do you dispatch?+
Dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck, hotshot, power-only and box truck / expedited — plus hazmat freight for carriers with PHMSA registration, a CDL hazmat (H) endorsement and hazmat-rated insurance on file (the portal tracks all three). Tanker, heavy-haul and oversize are handled case by case with permit and routing coordination — ask us about your setup.
Where do you operate?+
All 48 contiguous states — where effectively every dry van, reefer and flatbed truckload mile in the country runs. That focus is deliberate: one connected network, one set of rate standards, and carriers who can reload anywhere they deliver, instead of thin coverage spread across markets that move by barge and ferry. Alaska, Hawaii and cross-border Canada/Mexico are outside the network by design.
When do I actually get paid, and does LoadBoot advance money?+
Net-30 from delivery is the standard, or your factoring terms if you factor (often 21 days). Delivery flips the invoice to DUE automatically with a PAY-BY date visible to both sides. LoadBoot does not advance funds and is not a factor — money moves bank-to-bank while LoadBoot runs the ledger, receipts and confirmations. See payments & settlements and pricing.
Is there a TONU policy and workflow?+
Yes — a published standard ($250 typical) with a documented claim workflow: report from the trip, GPS position and the rate confirmation attach automatically, and the claim rides the trip invoice. Full details on the TONU policy page, alongside detention, layover and lumper.
How much does Loadboot dispatch cost?+
A flat 5% of the linehaul on loads we book for you — no sign-up fee, no monthly minimum, and no long-term contract. You only pay when we actually put money on your truck.
Do I keep my own authority?+
Yes. You keep your MC/DOT authority, your insurance and your broker relationships. Loadboot works on your behalf; we never take over your authority.
Is there a contract or cancellation fee?+
No contract and no cancellation fee. You can pause or stop any time. We keep your business by earning it, not by locking you in.
How fast can I get started?+
Most carriers are set up the same day. Create your profile, send us your authority and insurance, and a dispatcher gets to work on your lanes.
Do you help new-authority carriers?+
Yes — new-authority carriers are a big part of who we serve. We help you get your first loads, build broker credibility, and avoid the common early mistakes.
Who talks to the brokers?+
Your dispatcher does. We negotiate the rate, handle the rate confirmation and paperwork, and keep the broker relationship professional so you can focus on driving.
Do you help with factoring, IFTA and compliance?+
Yes. We can connect you with factoring, help keep your filings and permits current, and support you on IFTA, 2290, UCR and BOC-3.
What hours is dispatch available?+
A dispatcher is reachable during business hours and on call for active loads. If your truck is moving, we are reachable.

Freight Brokers

Is posting loads really free?+
Yes — free forever. No subscription, no per-post fee, no carrier-search fee. We earn on the carrier dispatch side, so free verified capacity for brokers makes the whole network stronger.
How do I know a carrier is who they say they are?+
Every carrier is checked live against FMCSA (authority, insurance, safety) before they can book, identity is verified at booking, and documents are collected automatically. Double-brokering is blocked by design — the carrier who books is the carrier who hauls.
Can I track loads without check calls?+
Yes. Every load gets live GPS with geofenced arrive/depart stamps at pickup and delivery, plus photo proof of delivery — watch it move in your Partner Portal instead of calling drivers all day.
How does paperwork work on a load?+
Rate confirmations are e-signed in the platform, BOLs and PODs are uploaded by the driver with timestamps, and everything lives on the load record — one link, full paper trail, no chasing.
What if a carrier cancels or falls off a load?+
Cancellations, TONU and rescheduling follow published written policies, every event is recorded with timestamps, and our team helps you re-cover fast from verified capacity — with the full history on record if a dispute comes up.
What does carrier verification cost me as a broker?+
Nothing. FMCSA authority, insurance and safety checks run automatically on the platform — both directions. You see a verified profile before you ever assign a load.

How is LoadBoot different from using a freight broker?+
Traditional freight passes through layers that each take 15–25% you never see. LoadBoot is direct-to-carrier: one transparent rate, FMCSA-verified carriers, and a platform record of everything — you know what the truck got paid and what you paid.
Can I see where my freight is right now?+
Always. Live GPS on every shipment, geofenced arrival/departure stamps at your dock and the destination, and photo proof of delivery the moment it happens — 24/7, from any device.
Are the carriers insured? Who is responsible if something goes wrong?+
Only FMCSA-verified carriers with active authority, $1,000,000 auto liability and cargo coverage on file can touch your freight — the COI is verified before they can book. Every shipment has a full document trail (rate confirmation, BOL, POD), so responsibility is never a mystery.
Do I need to commit to volume?+
No commitments. Ship one load or run program freight — the rate, tracking and paperwork work the same. As volume grows, dedicated capacity and lane pricing grow with it.
How do I get a rate?+
Create a free shipper account and post your shipment, check the live market rates page, or just open the chat and tell us the lane — a real quote, not a teaser.

Can I work as a dispatcher with LoadBoot?+
Yes — we hire US-based dispatchers and give them real tooling: verified freight, matching, rate confirmations, live tracking and settlements, with compliance workflows built in. See careers for open seats.
How does the 1% referral program work?+
Refer a carrier or broker; when they run loads on LoadBoot you earn 1% of gross on every load they move — for as long as they keep running. Transparent statements in your Agent Portal, no caps, and the people you refer never pay extra.
Who can become a referral partner and what does it cost?+
Anyone with a trucking network — drivers, fleet owners, factoring reps, insurance agents, creators. It costs nothing: create a referral account, share your link, and build monthly income.

Do I have to buy hardware, dashcams or an ELD contract?+
No — and that is on purpose. The driver’s phone is the tracker, so a one-truck carrier gets the same GPS proof a 50-truck fleet gets, on day one, at no hardware cost. Already paying for Samsara or Motive? Paste your token and LoadBoot reads positions from the hardware you already own. We sell no devices and lock you into no telematics contract — we turn whatever you already have into detention proof and paid claims.
What reporting do I get?+
Per-trip profit statements (revenue, costs, cost per mile, margin), earnings over 7/30/90 days, fleet utilization and best-paying lanes from delivered trips, document and compliance status, and CSV/PDF statements you can hand to an accountant — plus QuickBooks sync. See fleet management.
Does LoadBoot integrate with QuickBooks?+
Yes — native two-way QuickBooks Online sync is live in production: delivered-load invoices and expenses push into your books and paid status flows back. CSV exports cover Wave, Xero or your accountant. See integrations.
Does LoadBoot support ELD tracking (Samsara, Motive)?+
Yes. Paste your Samsara or Motive API token and vehicle positions feed active trips every 5 minutes — tracking runs even with the app closed. Any device can also POST to a secure webhook. Phone GPS works with zero setup. See integrations.
Can I assign drivers and trucks to loads?+
Yes — the fleet roster invites drivers by magic link, tracks license and medical expiry, holds trucks and trailers with plates and equipment, and assigns them per trip. The optimized fleet plan even suggests the best next load per truck, reload chained.
Does LoadBoot handle maintenance, payroll, fuel cards and IFTA?+
The fleet back office includes service logs with next-due dates, payroll entries built from delivered trips, EFS/Comdata/WEX fuel-card CSV import, per-trip P&L with cost per mile, IFTA state miles from the GPS trail and per-diem tracking. See fleet management.
Is there an API for TMS integration?+
Yes — the developer portal issues API keys and lets you register your own https webhook endpoints — load, trip, document and delivery events are then delivered automatically, with retries. Details on integrations. Details on integrations.
Who runs LoadBoot’s operations behind the scenes?+
A staffed operations desk we document publicly: verifications approved same-day, claims checked against server-side GPS evidence, payment receipts verified by humans — maker and checker never the same account. See the Command Center page.
